(ROCKLAND COUNTY, New York) March 10, 2021 – On March 25, Gentle Giant Brewing Company, Rockland Community College, and the Hudson Market on Main will host its monthly virtual beer and food tasting, featuring four distinct brews paired with sumptuous sandwiches from Hudson Market on Main, a Nyack-based restaurant. The event will also include a beer from a guest brewery, Industrial Arts Brewing Company.

A few days before the event, guests will be emailed the Zoom broadcast link by Rockland Community College. While the Zoom event at 7 pm itself is free, tickets are required for the beer and food tasting. One ticket provides enough for two people to enjoy; with two tickets, it’s a party for four. Beer and food pick-up will be at the Gentle Giant Brewing Company, 7 North Main Street in Pearl River. For reservations, visit

The March On Tap menu consists of:

Cuban Hero with Irish Red Motis
Irish Red Motis (5.5%) is one of Gentle Giant’s most requested brews. It features a grain bill consisting of Marris Otter, Crystal 40, Roasted Barley and the slightest touch of Chocolate Malt giving the flavor profile a rich roasted malt taste with a traditional deep red amber appearance.

Capreses Hero Ojas with Double New England IPA
This hazy New England IPA (8.4%) was intensely dry hopped with delicious Nelson Sauvin hops. This brew screams dank in the flavor profile with a slight white wine and grape must on the back end. A touch of rye to the malt bill adds a slight spicy note to complement the hop complexity.

Grilled Chicken Hero with Saurolophus Blueberry Sour
A twist on Gentle Giant’s traditional wheat beer recipe, this version is conditioned with 150 pounds of blueberries along with a lactose addition in the boil kettle. Saurolophus (5.5%) gives off hints of fresh lemon, vanilla pods and juicy blueberries to provide a wonderful balance of sweet and tangy flavors.

Brisket Hero with Industrial Arts Brewing Company’s Spring Landscape Helles Bock
Helles Bock (6.2%) presents with impressions of toasted bread, a little honey and some citrus. All profits from this batch of 100% New York State-grown Farm Beer will benefit @rocklandfarmalliance, an organization working to conserve farmland in Rockland County and beyond.
