Why Study Accounting?
Accounting is the means by which a company or organization communicates its financial information. It is for this reason many call it the “language of business.” Thus, accounting majors learn how to create and maintain a detailed and accurate system that displays the finances of a business. Students study the theory behind accounting and learn how to analyze the financial position of a firm or organization.
