RCC Emergency Notification System
Rockland Community College uses an Emergency Alert System to keep students and employees informed about closings, delays, and campus emergencies through texts, emails, and phone calls. No sign-up is needed, as the system is automatically updated with your information from the Admissions or HR database. If you are not receiving notifications or would like to change your contact information, please update your contact information in our system.

Alertus
Additionally, RCC uses the Alertus broadcast system for live emergency announcements across campus. The Alertus app will enable these messages to be sent to your phone in the event of a campus wide emergency.
Steps to download Alertus Recipient App:
- The Alertus Recipient App is located in your phone’s app store. (Look for the yellow icon )
- Once downloaded, enter the Org Code and Pin when prompted
- Org Code: sunyroc
- Pin: 10901
