Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center
Rockland Community College’s Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center is located downtown in the iconic river village of Nyack, NY.
At its focus, the Center offers credit and non-credit degree programs, with hospitality and culinary tracks. Students learn in a state-of-the-industry teaching kitchen with restaurant-quality equipment, receive instruction from talented professionals, and experience the business operations of the Center first-hand.

Student Run Pop-Up Cafe
Rockland Community College culinary students run a Pop-Up Cafe at Hudson Market on Main on Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 am – 3 pm, reopening on March 23. View the menu of delicious breakfast options, sandwiches and “Have it Your Way” salads.
The Pop-Up Cafe provides culinary students with hands-on learning experiences in food preparation, service and management. The Community can enjoy tasty breakfast and lunch meals twice a week while the full Hudson Market on Main is temporarily closed. Professional Features & Rental Opportunities
In addition to the teaching kitchen, the Center features a theater with a professional kitchen stage for events and demonstrations, meeting room rental space. The Hudson Market on Main, which is temporarily closed and will reopen in the summer of 2022 as it seeks a new hospitality partner, will offer a pop-up Market experience twice weekly run by RCC’s Hospitality & Culinary Arts students. Hudson Valley Region Culinary Scene
The Center strengthens the local foothold of artisanal foods, craft beverages and agro-tourism originating from the Mid-Hudson Valley region, and supports community initiatives for Rockland County residents and nearby friends.
Community Programs
In addition to the Food Enthusiast Program, Culinary Summer Youth Program is offered at the Center, where children who love to cook will learn kitchen and cooking basics, use of kitchen equipment, proper sanitation and knife skills.
