Open Houses & Info Sessions

Rockland Community College offers a variety of visit opportunities for prospective students and their families. Open Houses are usually hosted in November and April and there are a variety of Academic Info Sessions throughout the year. Admissions offers weekly campus tours and you can check out our campus at any time by visiting our virtual tour. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus!

Spring 2023 Admissions Open House

When: Thursday, April 20, 2023, 4 – 7 pm

Join the Rockland Community College Admissions team on campus to learn about what our college has to offer! Tour our beautiful campus with current RCC students who will tell you why you should join the RCC community! You will also get the chance to meet with Financial Aid Representatives, Student Success, and Specialized Services. Our Academic Deans will be hosting breakout rooms to assure that we have the right academic program for you as well!

Hospitality & Culinary Arts

Get started towards a professional and exciting career in the Hospitality and Culinary industry! You will be able to experience the state-of-the-art facility, learn about our programs of study in culinary arts, baking & pastry arts and hospitality management, and meet faculty and staff.

The RCC Hospitality and Culinary Arts Center is located downtown in the historic river village of Nyack, NY. At its focus, the Center offers the following to students and the community at large:

Gas Utility Worker

Join our Gas Utility Worker Virtual Info Session!

About the Program
Gas Utility Work Operator Qualification (OQ) testing according to Federal standards. An individual will learn the basic safety and operation procedures of work on and around a Natural Gas Pipeline including the origins of natural gas, and the properties and abnormal operating conditions of natural gas. They will also learn the excavation and backfill of a trench, the installation of pipe, and how to apply pipe coatings. Also included are First Aid/CPR and OSHA 10 for constructions.
