Meet Our Recruitment Team
Brian Sondey, Executive Director of Enrollment Services
Brian joined the RCC community in 2021 and oversees enrollment for all new and continuing RCC students. Brian has over ten years of experience working with college students at a variety of campuses in the New York metropolitan area.
Anthony Rooney, Assistant Director of Recruitment
Anthony is Assistant Director of Recruitment in the Office of Admissions, specializing in adult and veteran recruitment. As an alumnus, he can attest to RCC’s outstanding ability to prepare students to be real world ready, and enjoys guiding prospective students through this exciting time.
Oscar Arias, Recruitment Specialist II
Oscar has been a part of the RCC family since 1998, and started his career in the Office of Academic Intervention. For the last 21 years he has worked with the Enrollment Services Division as an Admissions Recruiter. As a recruiter, he has worked with traditional high school graduates, early admits, transfer students, and adult learners. He believes that his success as an educator is contingent on the success of his students. Oscar is fluent in Spanish and is also a proud alumnus of RCC Class of 1989.
Elizabeth Solages, Recruitment Specialist
Student Pools: Liz works with students from many high schools in Rockland and Orange County, New York, and nearby New Jersey. She also works with high school students from states outside of New York and New Jersey.
Elizabeth Solages joined RCC in 1981. She started as an Assistant to the Coordinator of the Spring Valley Learning Center, served as an Advisor in Financial Aid, and as Evening Division Coordinator, before assuming her current position in 1995.
Elizabeth, an RCC graduate and fluent in English, French and Creole, is chair of RCC’s Haitian Heritage Month, Advisor to the Haitian Club, and contributor to many campus groups. She is an Honoree of the RCC Foundation for Leadership, and is a SUNY Chancellor Award recipient.
Grazyna Gliwiak, Enrollment Management Assistant
Grazyna has been working at RCC for over twenty years. She has extensive knowledge of College procedures, faculty, staff and the campus, as well as a passion for working with international students, having come to the United States herself from Europe, to study at RCC.
