Italian Heritage Month

Welcome to Italian Heritage Month at RCC

Benvenuti!   October marks the start of Italian Heritage Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the rich tapestry of history, culture, and the enduring contributions of Italian Americans.

At RCC, our greatest strength is our inclusive campus with its vibrant diversity and beautiful mix of different backgrounds.   We invite our RCC family of students, faculty, and staff to honor the deep cultural impact that Italian heritage has had on our global community – from breakthroughs in science, medicine and philosophy to timeless traditions in art and their significance and value in sports, government, architecture, history, religion, music, literature, and the culinary arts.

It is also an opportunity to reflect on the resilience and determination of Italian immigrants who helped shape the fabric of our nation.  Throughout this month, we encourage you to engage and participate in our events to gain an awareness and appreciation about the profound legacy of Italian culture.

Whether you share this heritage yourself or just want to explore new perspectives, come together to celebrate this time of learning and community.

Arrivederci,
