Rockland Community College offers certain academic programs and student services that include off-campus, collaborative, and outsourced components.

Some academic programs, including Nursing and Occupational Therapy Assistant, require supervised clinical instruction conducted at affiliated healthcare facilities. These clinical experiences are an integral part of the curriculum. All academic instruction and credit are awarded by Rockland Community College.

The College also provides tutoring and academic support services through contractual arrangements with third-party providers. These services are supplemental in nature and do not replace instruction delivered by the College.

In addition, Rockland Community College maintains articulation and transfer agreements with other postsecondary institutions to facilitate student transfer and degree completion opportunities. These agreements do not constitute joint delivery of instruction, and Rockland Community College retains responsibility for the academic quality and credit awarded for coursework completed at the College. Acceptance of transfer credit is subject to the policies of the receiving institution.

Rockland Community College also provides certain information technology services through contractual arrangements with third-party service providers. The College retains oversight of these services to ensure alignment with institutional standards.

Rockland Community College maintains responsibility for all academic programs and awards all academic credit. The College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
