6:45pm – Check-in at Theatre Greenroom
7:00pm – Audition Begins
Auditions are open to all students!
COLD READING: You will be given sides/scenes from the show and partnered with other individuals. You will then have some time to go over them with your partner prior to your audition.
No prior knowledge of the play is necessary, however, it is encouraged to familiarize yourself with the script if possible.
Those interested in auditioning must sign up in the Visual and Performing Arts department. Auditions will be held in the Cultural Arts Theatre.
Upon arrival, please enter through the Visual and Performing Arts department (near Rm. 7100 Black Box Studio) and head down the stairs to the backstage area of the Cultural Arts Theatre.
Please see the attached map of campus for directions to the Visual and Performing Arts department.
This is where you can sign up to audition and it is also the entrance that takes you to the pathway to the greenroom and the backstage area to the theatre.
Each audition night will be limited to 30 people. (However, overloads will certainly be considered)
You must be available to rehearse from the final week of September through the end of the production on November 18th.
You will have the opportunity to describe your schedule and availability for consideration, as every actor may not be needed to attend every single rehearsal night depending on the character.

You must attend only one evening of the audition process in order to be considered for a part in this production.
