Juan Pablo Mobili: An Afternoon with Rockland County’s Poet Laureate

Join us for an inspiring afternoon with two distinctive voice, Juan Pablo Mobili, whose work bridges cultures, continents, and human experience, and RCC student Lucas Gonzalez.
Born in Buenos Aires and adopted by New York, Juan Pablo Mobili has been the Poet Laureate of Rockland County since 2025. His acclaimed poetry has appeared in literary journals across the United States and around the world, with multiple Pushcart Prize nominations and recognition from the international Human Rights Art Festival. His chapbook, Contrabana, was published in 2022, and his current manuscript was a finalist for the 2026 Paul Nemser Prize from Lily Poetry Review’s.
