Open Mic Night Event!

Location: Casa Del Sol Restaurant, 104 Main St., Nyack, NY
On Thursday, May 2nd, from 8-11:30pm, the RCC Contemporary Music Ensemble students, led by Professor Peter Fiore will be the guest house band and hosts for the “World Famous Casa Jam” Open Mic at Casa del Sol.
This exciting and welcoming Nyack venue has been a forum for local musicians to network, make friends, collaborate, form bands, and secure gigs and now the RCC students will run the show for the evening!!! For those who enjoy live, local music along with their margaritas, mojitos, and delectable Mexican food with flair, this is an event not to be missed!!!
HAPPY HOUR FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE ALL NIGHT!! Musicians planning to join the jam: sign up at 7:30; bring guitars and drumsticks. Full backline including keyboards provided!!!
Artists such as Pedro Capo, Grace Vanderwaal (America’s Got Talent Winner) Jermaine Paul (The Voice Winner), and NY Yankee’s Bernie Williams, in addition to thousands of other talented musicians have graced the stage at the legendary Casa Jam.
The World Famous Casa Jam is held weekly on Thursday Nights from 8:00-11:30pm and is hosted by RCC professor, Dr. Rachel Kraushaar. Sign-ups (7:30 pm) and play time are available on a per-registrant basis.
