LGBTQIA+ History Month

Rockland Community College is proud to recognize LGBTQIA+ History Month 2026 throughout October with opportunities for our campus community to learn, reflect, connect, and celebrate the history and contributions of LGBTQIA+ people. This month is an opportunity to honor those who have helped advance LGBTQIA+ visibility and equality while continuing important conversations about identity, inclusion, advocacy, and belonging.

Throughout the month, RCC will host programs and activities designed to bring students, faculty, and staff together in celebration and education. We invite the entire RCC community to participate, learn something new, and help us continue building a campus where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued.
