Fall 2025 OTA applications are now being accepted until 5 pm on May 16, 2025.
The OTA program is a health science curriculum that prepares students to work in a variety of educational and health-related settings. Upon completion of their academics, students must take the national certification exam in order to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. The OTA program offers both a part time and full-time option.
“We have always been very proud of our OTA Program,” says RCC Officer in Charge Dr. Scott Kalicki. “The consistent 100% pass rate underscores the quality of the program, the commitment to quality teaching standards by our faculty, and the dedication and hard work of the students we serve.”
The OTA Program offers entry into one of the fastest growing professions in the United States, a highly rewarding career whose professionals are in great demand. The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
About The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
NBCOT is a national not-for-profit organization that provides certification for occupational therapy professionals. Initial certification from NBCOT is a requirement to receive a license in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico. NBCOT also works with state regulators and employers to provide information on credentials, professional conduct and regulatory issues. NBCOT’s certification programs have received and maintained accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
