Rockland Community College Celebrates Riversville Foundation Scholarship Recipients at Annual Luncheon

SUFFERN, N.Y. (December 16, 2025) – Administrators, donors and student scholars gathered recently as Rockland Community College (RCC) and the RCC Foundation hosted a celebratory luncheon honoring this year’s Riversville Foundation Scholarship Award recipients. A longtime partner and steadfast supporter of RCC, the Riversville Foundation continues to make transformative investments in student access and success.

This year, the Foundation awarded 40 full-year scholarships totaling $120,000 to RCC students. Under the leadership of the Riversville Foundation Executive Director Bruno Casolari, the scholarship program supports first-generation students, students with demonstrated financial need and those who show strong academic persistence and a commitment to service and excellence.

Over the past several years, the Riversville Foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 250 RCC students, empowering them to pursue new academic pathways and unlocking opportunities to broaden their futures.

During the luncheon, student scholars shared their academic interests, professional aspirations and the impact the Riversville Scholarship has had on their lives. Many expressed deep gratitude for the financial support, which has allowed them to continue their studies, overcome economic barriers and stay focused on achieving their long-term goals.

“RCC is deeply grateful for the Riversville Foundation’s enduring partnership and extraordinary generosity,” RCC President William Mullaney said. “Their commitment not only changes individual lives but strengthens families and communities across Rockland County and New York state.”
