T.H.R.I.V.E. Initiative: From Trauma to Healing: Understanding and Responding to PTSD

Join us for an insightful workshop delving into the multifaceted nature of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD, a mental health condition that can arise following exposure to traumatic events, affects individuals across diverse backgrounds. Our comprehensive session aims to increase awareness, diminish stigma, and equip participants with the tools to provide support for those affected by PTSD.

Presenter: Sabrina Rieder | Assistant Professor of Psychology

The T.H.R.I.V.E. Initiative is a comprehensive student Training program designed to foster Health, Resilience, Inclusion, Vibrancy, and Empowerment within the RCC community. Through a series of interactive sessions, students will engage in critical discussions and skill-building exercises aimed at equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate various challenges they may encounter during their college years and beyond.
