Breaking the Silence Event – Making Sense of Teens, Screens and Family Life

October 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

Please join us for this free, virtual event.

The Annual Breaking the Silence Program in 2024 will take place virtually on Thursday, October 24 from 7 pm to 9 pm. We are excited to feature Dr. Alec Miller, renowned clinical psychologist, teacher, researcher, and treatment developer. In Making Sense of Teens, Screens, and Family Life through the Lens of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Dr. Miller will discuss adolescent mental health wellness and issues that are very much a part of the current school and college scene. These include school difficulties, mass shootings, bullying, social media, suicide, self-injury, and trauma.

Visit NAMI Rockland’s event page for more information and to register.
