LGBTQIA+ Ally Training
Location: Academic II, Room 2323
Rockland Community College invites faculty, staff, and students to participate in an engaging and interactive LGBTQIA+ Ally Training, facilitated by Steven Marks from the Connection Center.
This training is designed to help participants build the knowledge, awareness, and skills needed to support LGBTQIA+ individuals on campus and beyond. Together, we’ll explore inclusive language, the importance of pronouns, strategies for creating affirming spaces, and ways to be an active ally in both academic and social settings.
All are welcome—whether you’re new to allyship or looking to deepen your understanding. Join us in fostering a campus community where everyone feels respected, valued, and included.
