SUNY – The State University of New York Board of Trustees today appointed the following presidents: Dr. Peter O. Nwosu to lead SUNY Oswego, Dr. Tony D. Campus News – Rockland Community College (RCC) has already received two prestigious recognitions for its Nursing Program. NursingProcess.org, a website that compiles nursing education and career information data, ranked RCC’s program # 2 out of 153 New York State Board of Nursing approved schools to pursue an associate degree program in nursing.
Vet to Vet – “Thank You For Your Service” is a monthly podcast focusing on Veteran issues in and around Rockland County, NY and beyond. On this episode, host Mark Woods, Director of Rockland County “Vet to Vet”, is joined in studio by Jonathan Barnwell, Assistant Director of Judicial and Veterans Affairs, at Rockland County Community College. They discuss Veteran Students, Veteran Educational benefits, the Rockland County Veteran Cemetery and “sick call”.
News 12 – There were more than 80 employers and a dozen other local resource agencies at Rockland Community College’s Career and Resource Fair. About 500 students and community members attended giving them a chance to meet hiring managers from health care, education, law enforcement, business, and other industries.
