Kids College

Kids College is a STEAM camp for children (grades 2-9) who want to learn more about Science, Computers, and Art. All the instructors in Kids College have a degree or are working toward their degree in that area. Children will learn in-depth knowledge about the field of their choosing, working on fun projects every week to showcase the knowledge they learned.

Art (Grades 2-9)

Express Yourself Through Creativity!

If your child loves to create, our Art Program is the perfect place to develop their skills, experiment with new techniques, and gain confidence as an artist. This program blends traditional and modern artistic styles, allowing campers to explore a variety of mediums in an engaging and supportive environment.

What Campers Will Learn & Do:

  • Traditional: Learn the foundations of drawing, painting, and sculpting while also diving into design and illustration.
  • Exploring Artistic Styles: Study famous artists and artistic movements to inspire personal projects.
  • Creative Expression: Work with various materials—charcoal, acrylics, and clay —to bring imagination to life.
  • Graphic Design & Animation: Get hands-on with digital tools and create simple animations and designs.
  • Showcase & Feedback: At the end of each week, campers present their artwork in a mini gallery for friends and family.

This camp is perfect for both beginner and experienced young artists looking to explore new techniques, learn from skilled instructors, and develop their artistic voices in a fun, encouraging setting.

Computers (Grades 6-9)

For campers who love technology, our Computer Program offers an exciting deep dive into website development and Python programming. Over six weeks, campers will gain hands-on experience coding, designing, and problem-solving in a structured, supportive environment.

Program Breakdown:

Weeks 1-3: Website Development – Campers will build and customize their own websites while learning:

  • HTML & CSS: Structure web pages and style them creatively.
  • JavaScript: Add interactive elements to make websites dynamic.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure websites look great on any screen.
  • User Experience (UX): Learn the basics of how websites should function and flow.

Weeks 4-6: Python Programming – Campers will develop problem-solving and coding skills while working on fun projects, including:

  • Python Fundamentals: Learn variables, loops, and functions.
  • Game Development: Build simple games using Python’s libraries.
  • AI & Automation Basics: Get an introduction to artificial intelligence concepts and automation.
  • Final Project: Each camper will complete a coding project to showcase their new skills.

No prior coding experience is required! Whether they’re new to programming or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp provides a great foundation for future learning in tech.
