Our Baseball camp provides fun, safe, outdoor and organized baseball with some of the best players in the area! Campers receive small group instruction with experienced, energetic and responsible coaching staff, and varied weekly programs to improve skills, confidence and love of the game. Drills and game play every day! Age and skill-appropriate age divisions with weekly camper evaluations.
The RCC Baseball Camp is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of hitting, fielding, base running, catching and pitching, as well as advanced skills and techniques. This two-week camp is designed for the beginner, intermediate and advanced baseball player.
All campers are responsible for bringing their own glove, bat, cleats, sneakers, water bottle and hat.
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Drop off, stretching & running
9:30 am – 11:00 am: Throwing, defensive skills
- Day 1 – Infield
- Day 2 – Outfield
- Day 3 – Pitching / Catching
- Day 4 – Situations
- Day 5 – Reinforcement & situations
11:00 am – 11:45 am: Defensive competition (throwing accuracy, “error”, etc.)
11:45 am – 12:15 pm: Baserunning
12:15 pm – 1:15 pm: Lunch
1:15 pm – 2:30 pm: Offensive skills (tee work, soft toss & batting practice)
2:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Games or simulated games based on skill level

Chris Calvario is a member of the Baseball Team here at Rockland Community College. A 2021 graduate of Albertus Magnus, Chris has assisted in coaching his father’s little league baseball team.
