Jewish Heritage Month

Welcome to Jewish Heritage Month at RCC
Jewish Heritage Month has been celebrated every Spring semester at RCC since 2008 with activities designed to promote awareness and appreciation of the Jewish heritage to our diverse College community.
RCC has also marked Holocaust Commemoration Week in late April for more than thirty years, allowing the next generation to hear first-hand testimony from courageous Holocaust survivors.
You are invited to attend this year’s events, which are free and open to the public.
We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to all members of our community as we celebrate Jewish Heritage Month.
Jewish Heritage Month provides us with a valuable opportunity to recognize and honor the rich cultural, historical, and religious contributions of the Jewish community. Throughout the month, we will have the chance to engage in meaningful discussions, educational events, and cultural celebrations that highlight the diverse tapestry of Jewish heritage.
Rockland Community College is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where all cultural traditions are respected and celebrated. Jewish Heritage Month serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing diversity and promoting understanding among our students, faculty, and staff.
We encourage you to participate in the various events and activities planned for Jewish Heritage Month.
Together, let us embrace the spirit of Jewish Heritage Month and celebrate the invaluable contributions of the Jewish community to our shared humanity.
We look forward to celebrating Jewish Heritage Month with you.
