The Annual John R. Maloney Irish Coffee House and Conversation

In honor of Irish Heritage Month, the Visual and Performing Arts department will host this annual event, which is also a co-sponsored event in honor of Women’s History Month. From Community College to Doctorate: A Woman’s Journey of Resilience and Empowerment – From Community College to Doctorate: A Woman’s Journey of Resilience and Empowerment takes you through the inspiring story of Dr. Christina Schaudel, who began her academic journey at SUNY Rockland Community College as an Undecided student and eventually earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership. This personal narrative highlights the challenges, triumphs, and key moments that shaped her educational path. Throughout the presentation, she reflects on the power of perseverance, the importance of community and mentorship, and how determination and support can transform lives and inspire others to reach their own goals.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served following the event.
