Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC) is best known as Rome’s greatest orator, but we will discuss much more. He left us not only his written speeches, but his work on many subjects including rhetoric and philosophy. Learn about how this self-made man, a lawyer, rose through the political ranks to the Republic.
