Romulus and Remus – The Legendary Brothers Who Built Rome

October 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EDT

Location: Academic I, Room 1106
Presenter: Prof. Dino Ritsatos

Everyone’s heard of Rome, but not everyone knows the story of how it all began – with 2 brothers, a she-wolf, and a fight that would shape history. In this presentation, we’ll dive into the myth of Romulus and Remus, exploring why their story mattered to the Romans and how it still echoes through Italian culture today. It’s a mix of legend, rivalry, and the birth of the Eternal City – all told in a way that connects the past to the present.

This event is part of our celebration of Italian Heritage Month.
