Why Study Natural and Physical Sciences?

Students who choose this degree path will gain critical knowledge in the areas of biology, chemistry, or physics, and develop research and problem-solving skills. Through the coursework, students will become familiar with the scientific method and the use of technology in research, learning, direct investigation and experimental analysis, while investigating the role and responsibility of the scientific community in the solution to global problems.

Students interested in Nursing should enroll in the Healthcare Science degree. Students interested in Pre-Med, Pre-Vet and Pre-Dentistry should enroll in the Natural and Physical Science degree. Students interested in Physical Therapy should enroll in either the Human Performance Studies or Natural and Physical Science degree.
