Why Study Healthcare Science?

This program will prepare students for further study in healthcare fields. The design of the program provides a strong foundation in both math and science as well as core courses covering a variety of healthcare related concepts that are integral for a successful career in today’s challenging healthcare settings. Additionally, students will obtain a broad knowledge base from SUNY General Education requirements. Students who complete the program will be prepared to transfer so they can seamlessly pursue a bachelor’s degree in their chosen field.

Your Team includes your Dean, Program Director, Faculty Advisor, Student Success Advisor, Connection Center Counselor, Financial Aid Advisor, Peer Mentors, and if you’re involved in any of these special programs, your Athletics, Honors, TRiO, and Veterans Advisors. During your first semester, you will take an ‘Introduction to the School’ course that will outline the various College offices and departments that can help you on your path.
