Wanting to share with you the 3 weeks he spent in Italy this summer Steve is back with Barese Italiano – from the region of Pugllia. The menu includes:
- Olive oil tastings with freshly baked bread, dried meats & cheeses from the region. Including capocollo, burrata, & caciocavallo.
- Fresh Mozzarella making & tasting
- Panzerotti – Fried pizza filled calzones
- Orecchiette pasta w sausage & broccoli rabe.
This class will be a combination of class participation w ‘hands on cooking’, as well as chef demos & tastings.
Suggested wine pairings: (We do not provide wine, you may BYOB)
- Primitivo – Red Zinfandel
- Verdeca / Bombino Bianco – Whites
The maximum class size is 20 with 10 cooking stations.
Snacks are provided upon your arrival and you get to take the food you make home with you.
