About the Certified EKG Technician Program

Electrocardiogram (EKG) technicians conduct diagnostic tests that help doctors identify cardiovascular issues in patients. They’re an important—even vital—part of a healthcare team. 87% of employers encourage or require certification for EKG technicians. This program prepares the student to earn an industry certification from National Healthcareer Association.

About the Combined Certified EKG/Phlebotomy Program

The Certified Clinical Phlebotomy & EKG Technician program is a combined classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory setting experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of Laboratory Medical Science and gain the knowledge and certification to perform cardiac testing in a clinical setting; the course will include Health Care System Settings, Administrative, Clinical and laboratory. Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, clinical procedures and computer application.
