Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

About the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program

This program provides training in clinical procedures used by entry-level Medical Assistants working in hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and other healthcare settings. Medical Assistants have always been critical employees in the healthcare system, but they are becoming even more critical as the industry expands to support technological advances and the population ages. MAs are multi-skilled allied healthcare professionals who may administer medications, assist with minor procedures, record vital signs, take medical histories, prepare patients and rooms for examinations, handle laboratory specimens, provide patient education, and much more. The program also includes resume, interview preparation, and job placement.
