About the Mill and Lathe G & M Code Programming Program
This course provides the basic principles of writing an introductory Mill and Lathe G & M code programming. The course covers the fundamentals to qualify for an entry-level Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operator. Participants will use a hands-on approach to learning CNC programming language. Individuals acquire the skills and knowledge to successfully set up and operate a CNC milling and turning center, program machining code, maintain quality and safety standards, keep accountability records, and maintain equipment and supplies. This course is aligned with two additional National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Programming credentials.
