About the CNC Operator Program
This course covers the fundamentals preparing students for an entry-level Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operator or Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinist position. Students will use an experiential approach to the CNC Learning System and be introduced to the foundations of set-up and operation of CNC machines. An introduction to basic CNC mill and lathe operation, proper machine safety, and essential machining processes will provide students with the basic knowledge necessary to qualify for hands-on testing to obtain a Haas CNC Basic Lathe Operator Certificate & a Haas CNC Basic Mill Operator Certificate.
