Wanting to share with you the 3 weeks he spent in Italy this summer, Steve is back with Sicilian Italiano The menu includes:
- Assorted meats & cheeses from the region w Olives, oils, & breads for dipping.
- Fresh Mozzarella demo & tastings (w hands on student participation).
- Pasta alla Norma – Tomato based sauce w traditionally fried melanzane (eggplant).
- Arancini – Fried rice balls made w arborio rice used in risotto, with a risotto demo also.
- Sicilian style pizza – made with house made focaccia bread.
- Grilled Pulpo (Octopus) w citrus Aioli
- Cannoli w Pistachio nuts & other toppings.
This class will be a combination of class participation w ‘hands on cooking’, as well as chef demos & tastings.
Suggested wine pairings: (We do not provide wine, you may BYOB)
- Nero d’Avola – red
- Catarratto – White
The maximum class size is 20 with 10 cooking stations.
Snacks are provided upon your arrival and you get to take the food you make home with you.
