Why Study Public Health?
This Associate of Science degree in Public Health is designed to prepare students for transfer into four-year college or university programs to complete a BS degree in Public Health or other fields of study. The curriculum of core courses in Public Health and general education credits is comparable to the first two years of study in Public Health programs at four-year institutions.
This degree provides a foundation in public health knowledge applicable in a broad range of health-related fields including Bio-Statistics, Health Informatics, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Bioterrorism Research, and many more.
