Reading and Writing Center

Welcome to the Reading and Writing Center

The Reading and Writing Center (RWC) helps students, faculty and staff at Rockland Community College to become stronger readers and writers. Anyone may come to the RWC for assistance with reading and writing assignments from any course. The staff of the RWC is also happy to assist with personal reading and writing tasks such as letters, transfer essays, resumes and creative writing.

Check out Reading and Writing Center page on myRCC to find helpful handouts on all aspects of the writing process, and links to other useful sites.

Reading and Writing Center Appointments for Spring 2021

This semester, most courses will be held remotely because of concerns regarding COVID-19. Therefore, the RCC Reading and Writing Center (RWC) will continue to work with students remotely for the Spring 2021 semester. With that said, students wishing to utilize the RWC services should go to https://rockland.mywconline.com to schedule an appointment.

Students can choose to do a virtual appointment through the WCOnline system by selecting an Online session or submit a paper for review by selecting an eTutoring session.

Anyone wishing to schedule a virtual session should make an appointment at https://rockland.mywconline.com. First time users must register!
