Faculty and Staff Resources

The Testing Center follows the recommendations of our Division and RCC testing protocols.

Please complete the link above. Once the form is submitted, our proctor will contact you to confirm receipt. Tests and instructions must be submitted before the student schedules their appointment.

The Testing Center provides testing services to individual students who:

  • Have been given permission by an instructor to take a missed test
  • Required extended time for a testing session due to a formal accommodation established by the Office of Accessibility Services

The Testing Center does not provide full-class testing. This includes testing due to instructor absence.

The only formal accommodation the Testing Center provides is that of extended time as determined by the Office of Accessibility Services. If any other accommodations are needed including breaks that require the student to leave the room for any reason (including bathroom breaks, or the need to eat or drink) please arrange the testing session with the Office of Accessibility Services.

Incidents of students’ failure to follow Testing Center procedures will be reported to the instructor and may be treated as an act of academic dishonesty. (See the Student Code of Conduct.)

Procedures in the Testing Center are intended to promote a distraction-reduced environment conducive to testing. Please be aware of this when you enter the Center to pick up test and engage the proctor. Your patience will be appreciated.

Please note the following:

  • Submit tests three (3) business days in advance of the test date to allow for processing.
  • Complete the online test submission form; or place tests into the unmarked wall safe (drop box) located on the wall outside Room 8280, 2nd floor of the Technology Center; or send interoffice to Room 8280.
  • A fully completed test-submission form is required with each test.
  • Tests are returned through interoffice mail, or if requested, picked up in person by the faculty member. The instructor must come in person to the Testing Center, room 8280. Faculty must show ID when picking up testing materials.
  • Printed test submissions forms are available by the Testing Center entrance in room 8280.
  • Unused exams will be shredded after the completion date noted on the test submission form.
